Hi David
Just downloaded your new phpMySQLAutobackup and think I've carried out install correctly.

1. Unzipped files
2. Transfered using ftp to my server.
3. Edited run.php

// variables you need add your details below:
$db = "MySQLDBNAME"; // your MySQL database name
$mysql_username = "MySQLUSERNAME"; // your MySQL username
$mysql_password = "MySQLPASSWORD"; // your MySQL password
$emailaddress="myemailaddy@wanadoo.co.uk"; // your email address to send backup files to
//best to specify an email address on a different server than the MySQL db ;-)

4. Loaded up url of run.php in browswer and........
5. Got 404 error file not found.
6. No email received with backup.gzip file.

Can you point me in the right direction David in where to find my problem? I have checked things through and all seems ok (but its late now so maybe sleeping on it might help lol).
Hope you can help.
Regards
Martyn.

This app is GPL (FREE to use) so you will have to figure it out yourself.

ALL the required is in the readme files - if you can not get it working then don't use it!

"SO Whats this forum for then" - for you to offer something back, not to take take take.....
