Fatal error: Allowed memory size

Postby claunajo » Sun Sep 25, 2005 11:45 am

I installed autobackup on my site. When I run the script, I receive this error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14036282 bytes) in /home/www/armorial/phpmysqlautobackup/files/phpmysqlautobackup.php on line 32

What can I do ?

Claude

Hi Claudio,

It sounds like the database is too big to backup.

You need to set it so it backs up just a few tables at a time, but in its current form this can not be done...

All you can do is wait for the upgrade. Or have a go yourself.

Sorry for long time to reply - I missed your post.

You can select separate tables and/or limit the start and end of record numbers to ensure this does not happen with the New version
