Backup a remote database - how to set the ip address.

Postby davidgwalker » Sat Feb 24, 2007 4:07 pm

This is a solution from DaveTheWave from Italy: http://www.davethewave.it/

A simple solution to make phpMySQLAutoBackup backup a remote database (to backup the database hosted on another server).

Within the run.php file add:
$mysql_hostip = "";

And modified /files/config.inc.php file:
$cfg['servers'][$i]['host'] = $mysql_hostip;

Hope this is useful for anyone attempting to backup remote databases.

Cheers

Dave.
