CSV format?

It looks like the ability to back up a MySQL database in CSV format is an option, but I can't seem to figure out how to change this.

I can manually back up a database in CSV (or any other format). The AutoBackup always attaches a sql gzipped format though.

How would you change the script to e-mail a .CSV gzipped file instead.

Very nice app by the way. It even works for those of us who aren't that technically inclined.

Hi Josh,

Yes, edit the file:
\phpMySQLAutoBackup\files\config.inc.php

line 302, change from:

$cfg['Export']['format'] = 'sql';

To:
$cfg['Export']['format'] = 'csv';

Hope that helps

Dave.
nb. but note this feature may not be included in the new version -- unless someone wants to voluntee to code it in following the release...?

Just made that change. Still being e-mailed a gzipped SQL file.

Indeed, thats because it is over-ridden by the later assignment in file:
\phpMySQLAutoBackup\files\phpmysqlautobackup_extras.php

Change this:
$what = "sql";

to:
$what = "csv";

That should do it ;-)
