I was asked:

    Thanks for this great programme. I was wondering if you had given a thought to include code to restore the tables in the database from the backup file. The restore function will be of immense help.

    Hi,

    Many thanks for your feedback.

    The main philosophy of phpMySQLBackup is to be a reliable and simple backup script, to add such functionality would mean adding complexity when not required.

    Analogy: you dont pull a breakdown truck behind your car in case you break down, you call for the truck when required.

    If a restore is required then you can use one of the many other apps (such as http://www.ozerov.de/bigdump.php , http://www.phpmyadmin.net , etc.).

How could I restore it using phpmyadmin thru my cpanel?
